Collection: Grenache

A full bodied, exotic wine.

Known as Garnacha in Spain, Grenache Noir in France, and Cannonau in Italy, Grenache is a dark-skinned red wine grape variety used to produce wine of the same name.

This widely grown and versatile wine grape, Grenache is light in colour but big on personality.  A heady and satisfying wine, with aromas and flavours of dried rose petal, red berries, liquorice and a faint herbal note.

Here in New Zealand it an expression of the renowned wine of the Rhône Valley, with all the beauty and aromatic qualities of a Pinot Noir, mixed with an exotic spice characteristic.
