These varietals are commonly combined to produce well-balanced wines that feature the strong backbone of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the supple juiciness of Merlot.

All the fruit for Esk Valley’s Merlot, Cabernet  Sauvignon blends are grown in the stony soils of the Gimblett Gravels, home to many of New Zealand’s finest red wines.
